Have you seen our threatened friend, the Blanding’s Turtle? Join us for a talk with post Master’s student Andrea Chaloux as we talk about her latest findings in the most recent Blanding’s Turtle study in the Wilton area. Learn about the history and the future behind our For the first hour we will hear from Andrea and get our questions answered by our local expert. The second hour, we will take a walk through our wetland parcel (Neilmann) to discover what Blanding’s Turtle habitat would look like in the winter. Snowshoes will be available for rental: $5 for nonmembers. If there is no snow, the program will take place without snowshoes.
